Krump-boarding?

So last Saturday two of my friends and I heard there would be a krump session at Hemingways Casino in East London, so we decided to head on down to check it out. We get there and make our way to the notorious Circle in the food court area, the sacred hangout spot of pubescent teens and large families of shoppers. In no time we spot "The Fam," a krump group from the Hillside church youth group led by one B-Tech (sp).

I don't need to remind anyone that the dance form that is krump is not for the faint-hearted. These cats though, they know what it's all about & one can see by the way they get down that they practically live it. Some of my dudes from back home were down there doin'their thing too, so it was quite a nifty little gathering (do I have to say "no homo" for using the word "nifty?").

Cats did their thing to the pleasure of the many month-end shoppers present. The highlight of the day though, didn't even come from a crazy krump move or kill-off; it came in the shape and form of a very tall, very dark, Supra wearing nigga that decided he would have a go on another dude's skateboard. While we were getting some music issues sorted out, dude decides to go X-Games on us and get on a skateboard infront of all those people. He got about as far as putting both feet on then the board; it went one way, he went another, he saw his ass, and cue the laughter of 50+ people. Then dude gets up, waves & bows to the audience. :'-D Still can't get over it.

Moral of the story: stick to what you know when you're in public partner!

Keep it Cizzlin'!
